Audit and report
The audit is a close look at how the organisation actually works: where time goes, where decisions stall, and where information gets stuck. It is not a demonstration of a product.
The audit
Time spent with the people who do the work, and a look at the tools already in use. The point is a clear picture of the operation as it is, not as a slide describes it.
The report
A written report. It names the problems and the solutions. It says what is worth doing, and what should be left alone. Later work is based on it.
